Spirograph & More Spirographs

The Spirograph was one of my favorite art toys as a kid. Here's a digital version written as a Java Applet.

Created by Anu Garg.

A Spirograph is a curve formed by rolling a circle inside or outside of another circle. The pen is placed at any point on the rolling circle.

If you would like to get the analog version, you can find them on Amazon.com at the following two links.

  1. OscilloScribe (www.spelunkcomputing.com/oscilloscribeapplet.html) is another applet that draws Spirograph and related patterns. It also lets you color them.

  2. Thanks for stopping by Peter! I'll add a link here to OscilloScribe and I'll also be sure to bookmark it for writing a new post later.

The spirograph generator above is kind of hard to use now with this new template I've just started using. However, you can click through to the original spirograph page and use it there. Enjoy!
