Of course, I'm a big fan of Wikipedia, and I'm fond of calling it the current repository of the grand sum total of all human knowledge (so far). Sure enough, it really is the encyclopedia that anyone can update. And that is not without flaws. But the fact that anyone can edit it and there are subject matter volunteers curating and moderating most edits, I've found it reliable and trustworthy on most things.
The site Now I Know is new to me, but their catch-phrase of That's Half the Battle is a well-worn meme from my childhood, when the G.I. Joe cartoons were popular.
